What We Believe

We believe the Scriptures are given by God's inspiration, written through people, and therefore carry the authority of God while containing the history, lives, and cultures of people.

We believe in one God who is eternal, Omniscient, Omnipresent, and all-powerful. He is the Lord and Creator of all things and exists wholly as three in one as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, God made flesh, who was born of the Holy Spirit through the Virgin Mary and lived a perfect, sinless life. He bore the sin of all humanity, was crucified, and died on the cross as a final blood sacrifice and payment for our sins. He resurrected from the dead and ascended into heaven where He is seated on His throne at the right hand of the Father.

We believe the Holy Spirit was sent, as promised by Jesus, as a Helper, Comforter, Encourager, and Guide to help us live according to the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and that He empowers the believer to walk in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

We believe that man was created perfect, in God's image. Due to the rebellion and sin of Adam in the Garden of Eden, all humanity is born in sin and separated from God. Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the shedding of His blood, salvation is available to anyone who believes in Jesus Christ, accepts Him as their Savior, and confesses their faith, thereby receiving eternal salvation.
